For many parents and caregivers, children grow up too fast. One moment they’re a newborn and the next they’re learning how to tie their shoes. Watching your child grow up is a beautiful thing.
It can also be a scary thing. There is a world of knowledge that needs to be taught to your child. Being responsible for someone else’s learning is a tough thing. That is where we come in!
We take applications for our waitlist for all age groups and classrooms year round. If you would like to add your child(ren)’s name to this list, please download, fill out the application completely, and return it to our Early Learning Center Director, Karen Blunt, at [email protected]. You can also turn in the form at the Member Services Desk of the Bedford YMCA.
*Please note this is an application for placement and does not constitute acceptance into the program. If your child(ren) are accepted you will be contacted at that time.

Volunteering is a really sweet thing to do!
Are you looking to get involved with something great? Sign up to be a dependable volunteer for our BAFY Early Learning Center and make a difference in the life of a child. Our new ELC has classrooms for infants to 5-year-old kids, all with different activities and learning centers, all of which would welcome a volunteer to enrich the room. There are all sorts of opportunities from reading to classrooms to being a classroom helper and playing with the kids. Email Lisa at [email protected] to start the process or to get more specific information for the area you are interested in helping with.
All potential volunteers will be required to pass a background check and have completed volunteer paperwork.
We happily welcomed State Senator Mark Peake to tour our new Early Learning Center. Check out the news broadcasts here:
Please send all completed forms to Karen at [email protected]. No forms will be accepted incomplete, please fill out all information and attach any supporting documents.
